I bought these headlights having no experience in installing them ever. I had no idea if this is a good brand, and to be honest I still don't. However, after much research, there were few after-market headlight options available for my '04 Accord EX and these seemed to be the lesser of evil buys. These headlights are NOT plug and play. Unfortunately they will require a little re-routing. But don't let this discourage you, it's easier than you think. I have no experience and I did it.The Instructions were missing a step (step1) and were very unclear on what to do, but one piece of important info was highlighted and that is to tie in the LED halo and bottom LED lights into the parking lights. The parking lights are the lights that come on when you half way turn on your headlights (the orange ones you see cops have on when they are sitting in the dark). A volt meter is a handy but not required. Just know black wire means negative and other color is positive. But BEFORE YOU DO ANY WORK BUY SOME WIRE JOINTS. Something big enough to connect 4-5 wires together. I learned this the hard way. I bought some quick-connects from Fry's for pretty cheap. They look like this: [...]. Or just go online and look up the pdf of the installation guide for spyder headlights. I also suggest only working on one headlight at first until you know for sure how to do everything. Makes doing the other side a lot less of a hassle and if you need to put it back together it wont take long.Only thing I didn't like was that the driver side headlight did not fit well into the quarter panel like the passenger side. I don't know how water proof these headlights are either. I added some silicone sealer to the edges to be sure. Total time of work was 6 hours, but that's mostly due to time spent figuring out what to do and then having to re-assemble the headlight to go to the store for supplies. If I did this again I would estimate 2-3 hour installation. The headlights them selves are a decent brightness, better than what I had from stock. However in the future I will probably add an HID kit. Best of luck!materials: electrical tape wire strippers wire cutters box of quick connects socket wrenches phillips screw driver silicone sealerHeadlights were much cheaper than purchasing from Spyder, but be sure to order 6000K, 5000 or 10000 lumen, H1 LED bulbs as these come with cheap HID that don't last long. Also get LED turn signal bulbs. The maximum headlight wattage is 55 watts. 10,000 lumen is 50 watts and they're bright. If you order these bulbs with these lights you'll save yourself $40 and never change a burned out bulb again.I ordered these hoping they would be as good looking in person as they are in the pictures. I was no disappointed. These headlights are absolutely beautiful! A huge difference from my stock faded yellowed headlights. Wiring was simple for the LEDs and Halos. Wired them right into the wires on the headlight, not sure why they aren't wired like that to begin with, but I guess that gives people options on how they want to wire them up. They completely changed the entire look of the car, I will update review with pictures when the sun comes out. The only thing I did not like were the bulbs that come pre-installed. They are the cheapest of the cheap H1 bulbs you can get. They came right out and went into the trash, but I'd planned on doing that anyway, ordered H1 LED bulbs when I ordered these because that's what I was running in the stock headlights.Lights look awesome however connection to the headlight, low beam was not connected and wire was cut.. but awesome lights..You may want to get brighter headlight bulbs though..Great product!!! VERY fast shipping!!!!LEDs suck. But really good looking lights. These lights are awesome best buyLights look great on the car but do not buy if you actually want to see at night. These come with crap bulbs and are not the oem size either. So if you have hid's already on then these will not be compatible. Was a waist of money.
