Definitely replace the factory bulb. But overall I love the new look on my truck! Winter is coming up so we will see how they withstand the cold weather in the northwest. But all and all a very well built headlight for a very affordable price!They are nice lights and look good but the blinker is a different size for the light. If your like me you wanna do it all in one shot. Truck takes a 3157 but the new headlight takes a 1157For the money they're not bad, but here are the main features:1. Plug and play, no splicing required2. Angles of headlight bulb Hi/low beam will need to be adjusted. L/R and U/D dials are marked3. Bulbs are H7 and nasty yellow, but easily replaced4. LED Bar is great. Cool white and frosty5. These fit 09-14 F-150's but are not as clean of a fit as stock housings. Require maneuvering.6.
