These look good in my wife's car. Clear and bright lenses. They use the stock bulbs (9007) but the running lights and flasher bulbs have to be changed. The lenses for the 3157 bulbs are clear (as opposed to the stock lenses being amber) so you have to change to an amber bulb. Also, there is no polarizer on these 3157 bulbs or on the socket they go into so it's guesswork as to which element is going to be the running light and which is going to be the flasher. You want the heavy element to be the flasher. Trial and error is the only way to find out. I also found loose screws inside the housing, so make sure to check and tighten those (philips heads). These lights have a socket and are wired for fog lights but my car doesn't have a fog light switch, SO, if you splice the black wire (that goes to the H3 fog light) to the red wire (that goes to the 3157) you will have fog lights whenever the headlights are turned on, whether dims or brights. The fog lights won't burn with the daytime headlights. Haven't had any issues with that overloading the circuit. My wife LOVES the extra light the fog lamps provide. These are not too bad to install but you should probably watch a video so you don't waste time taking off stuff that doesn't need taken off and so you can locate all the hidden screws. The grille and bumper cover have to be removed but you can leave the side marker lights attached.I went through a few different online styles and decided to go with these projector beams.These are pretty great except for a few minor annoyances- Instead of a Clip on/off rear housing like the factory headlights (and some other aftermarkets) these are screwed on, this means there is pretty much no way for you to replace/service a bulb in these headlights without removing the entire headlight, which on this car (MK4 jetta) means removing the entire front bumper- I found the fog lights as well and main headlights to be somewhat dim although crisp, while the high beams were very very bright.- LED bulbs with any kind of rear fan housing or bulky rear end (about 90% of them have this) will not fit!!. So unless you want to do some grinding away of allot of plastic (what i did). You better be content with incandescent bulbs.- Aside from the above a pretty great projector option for the MK4.Bulbs are- H7- H1- H3 (fog)- turn signals (i forgot, sorry)but all are included with the headlampstook a long time to adjust because i had to remove the head light to get to the adjustment screw each time but when done was nice and bright and looks good toThey’re nice looking however did not come with any bulbs like everything said they would, it was just the housing assembly, after contacting the seller they assured me they would send me the bulbs and extended their apology to me. Have yet to receive bulbs but I was told 7-10 business days so have to be patient. Customer service is ok will update when I receive bulbs. Edit received bulbs not all required and all incorrect was sent marker lights for my bumper???!!! And incorrect headlight bulbs, no blinker bulbs no fog light bulbs. Will update if this is resolvedGreat headlights look awesome and fit perfectly the light bulbs it comes with are very nice and bright would highly recommend I have a 2003 VWJetta and it gives it a more aggressive lookSuperior quality and everything was smith and it turn out nice and like oem, only bad thing is when the bulbs burn out ( due to lack of space) (mine was a VR6) you have to remove the entire assembly out but other then that it is so worth itGot my lights in took alittle time but got them and I was 100% satisfied so far so good took 10 years of my 01 jetta looks aggressive super bright bulbs to would recommend stock lights are garbageWould order again.
